anybody know anything about the artist Max Karp?

I found have a painting signed by Max Karp. Ive done research and everything i find made by him is done by enamel on copper, which he did not start painting this way until the 60's. The painting i have is done on canvas and is dated 1930, which means he was 14 when he painted this picture. It is a 12x16 painting of a landscape of a river bank with trees and mountains in the background. Does anybody know if this has any value to it at all or if its worth keeping/further researching?

Max Karp is a contemporary painter who used enamel. He is internationally acclaimed as the father of modern enameling and is self-taught, born in Ohio (USA) in 1916, and lived in California. He began painting in oils various species of birds and insects and in 1960's became interested in the enamel process. Other than the above I don't know much else about him.
