Basically you need to ask her question. Questions are very powerful thing when convincing someone. Especially questions that have only a ethical answer.
First, ask her why she is wanting to hold you back. No parent in this world should ever hold their child back from wanting to grow.
Second, make a plan with her. Sort of like a schedule. Make the time periods when you are not involved in athletics in to study time. And make some free time in that schedule too. But be reasonable. Don't give yourself a crud ton of free time and no study time.
Lastly, BE RESPECTFUL. No parent is ever going to want to do something for a child when they are whining in their ear. Sit down. Have a chat. Dont jump at her and start going pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee. Act mature. Good luck man.
