Bead work is popular from primitive times but only gained a lot importance now in the markets since there are innumerable varieties of beads and various purposes in which beads can be used.
Well, <a href="http://www.beadcity.com/">Beads</a> are mainly used in making jewelries. Even designers feel that beads can really add value to jewelry when it is used creatively. These can actually enliven the personality of a woman. A pair of small earrings made of beads looks dazzling on a female, no matter how old she is. The beads not only enhance the status of a person but can enhance the status of the whole house when put into use for discovering little and beautiful things.
There are so many things that one can make through beads and make his surroundings look lively. One can make a beautiful bead curtain with his own hands and hang it on the window side to give it an attractive look. Also one can creatively decorate very pretty beaded curtains. There are various types of beads in a huge variety of colors, shapes and sizes. The most popular types of beads with their characteristics are as under:
Dichroic Beads: These beads are produced when simple layers of metal oxides are used on the surface of regular glass and then made into a bead.
Fusible Beads: These are pretty, plastic and colorful beads, which are put on a special reusable pegboard to make an image. Then they are melted together using an iron.
Lamp work Beads: These beads are made through a handmade process, added with various colors of glass to make a three dimensional bead.
Millefiori or Mosaic Beads: In this, thin rods of glass are bundled together and since each glass rod is of a different color, one can find a pattern or design when he would look at the ends of the rods.
Rondelle Beads: These beads are round, flat and can be made from a variety of materials.
Seed Beads: These are the most common kind of beads which are ideal in the use of bead weaving, stringing and looming.
Crystal Beads: These crystal beads are machine cut to give short angles and are mostly multi-faceted. They are popular for their sparkle and clarity.
One can really make super dazzling jewelry by choosing and selecting the appropriate colorful bead.

I really love making fimo beads and am just about to make some beads for a bracelet I wan't to wear. The only problem is that I'm stuck for ideas...so what I'm asking is that if you could post some links with pictures or canes (millefiori style) which would be great because then I could get on with my Project!
