My bathroom sink...?

Is horribly chipped and dented, my landlord won't replace it, and is encouraging me to fix things(not replace) on his dime, he even said he'd pay me hourly, as I'm a stay at home mom.

So what can I use to fill in the dents and chips missing from my sink? It doesn't have to be an enamel repair kit, as I'm unable to locate one. Anyone have any unusual ideas to help fix it(i.e. I'm about to try white paint in clear nail polish) it doesn't need to be perfect but the previous tenant was really into dying her hair so they are all stained various shades of red and purple, and I just want something that will make them blend with the rest of the sink. Something that won't wipe out the first time I clean it with my scrubbing bubbles? Thanks!

Try to sand off rough edges with coarse to fine sandpaper (maybe it will get those ugly colors too). Then spray with a good enamel spray paint and ventilate the room !!!!!
