It’s All About Beauty in the land of Italians – Bellezza!

Why are Italians lucky?
Quite simply, beauty is THE word to describe so many things in and from Italy. Whether its a Tuscany landscape, or the flowers, food, wine, clothes, china, glass...just about whatever, the vibrant and dramatic colors or tastes is what most of us know and love about Italy. And in particular Tuscany! Without doubt, Tuscany is our daughter's favorite place on Earth. And I credit her with introducing me to the wonders of it all. Grazie, figlia mia bella!
Tuscany is an amazing place in Italy. It is renowned for its art and in particular the spectacular Tuscan landscapes. The movie, Under The Tuscan Sun, does an awesome job of capturing the sights of this area and just how truly brilliant they are. If you've never visited the region, you can practically GO THERE in your mind's eye just by watching this flick!
Art by Italians
Numerous skilled artists base out of the Tuscany region of Italy. Whether it be the homes, landscapes, villages, food, or most things in general, it is a place unique to all the world. Who wouldn't want to create beautiful objects or paint in this place?!
Having a Tuscany painting on your wall is sure to add bright colors and become a definite focal point of the room. You might be asked "what is it?" or "where was that from?" but you will NOT need to explain it beyond that. The same about colors and vibrancy can be said of Italian pottery, glass, and jewelry. It's almost always stunning and eye catching.

Tuscany is made up of ten provinces. Each is unique and special in its own way. I'd describe the land as mostly hills rather than mountains or flatland. The sunsets, because of the hills, are some of the most dazzling you can imagine. Florence, our daughter's favorite city in all of Italy, is the most populated in the region. Florence has long been a cultural capital of the region dating as far back as the bronze and iron ages. If you're into antiquities, all sorts of finds can be had from this region.
